 Andrew M. Bursky – Managing Partner Mr. Bursky has been Managing Partner of Atlas Holdings LLC since its inception in January 2002. From June 1999 to April 2002, Andy was a Co-Managing Partner of Pegasus Capital Advisors, L.P. (“Pegasus”), a private investment partnership with approximately $2 billion of capital under management, focusing on control investments in middle-market companies at points of stress or significant change. Andy joined Pegasus in 1999 after 19 years with Interlaken Capital, Inc. (“Interlaken”), a private equity concern focusing on contrarian style, value-oriented investments in middle-market companies. Andy was a co-founder and the Senior Managing Director of Interlaken. While at Interlaken, Andy was responsible for all investments and business development activities, with a primary focus on industrial manufacturing, business services, financial services and distribution. Andy serves as a Trustee of the Eisenhower Fellowships and Washington University in St. Louis and on the Executive Board of No Labels. In addition, Andy currently serves on the Board of Managers for a number of Atlas portfolio companies. Andy is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and Harvard Business School. Timothy J. Fazio – Managing Partner Mr. Fazio has been Managing Partner of Atlas Holdings LLC since its inception in January of 2002. He and Andy have worked closely together for more than 17 years. Sam serves on the Board of Managers of Erickson Construction and Novipax. Mr. Astor is a graduate of Wesleyan University. Daniel E. Cromie – Partner Mr. Cromie joined Atlas in 2002 and serves as a Partner. Dan has approximately 12 years of private equity experience, throughout which period he has worked with Andy and Tim. Dan serves on the Board of Managers of Aludium, Bridgewell Resources LLC, Capital Equipment Resources LLC, Erickson Framing Holdings LLC, Phoenix Industrial Services LLC, RedBuilt LLC and Soundview Paper LLC. Prior to joining Atlas, Dan served as a consultant for the Commodity Operations Group of Goldman Sachs in a variety of capacities including as a member of the development team of an integrated fixed income, currency and commodities operations system. Concurrently, Dan toured the country as a professional musician. Prior to his professional music career, Dan was a Senior Analyst at Interlaken. Dan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Edward J. Fletcher – Partner Mr. Fletcher joined Atlas in 2007 and serves as a Partner. Prior to joining Atlas, Ed served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Wood Resources LLC, an Atlas platform company. Before that, Ed was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of a publicly-traded wireless information and communication services company, where he had oversight and responsibility for all financial aspects of the organization. He began his career in 1993 at Ernst & Young LLP ("E&Y") in the Assurance Advisory Services Practice. Ed serves on the Board of Managers of Banker Steel, Detroit Renewable Energy LLC, Finch Paper Holdings LLC, Merchants Metals LLC, New Wood Resources LLC and Veritas Steel LLC. He is also on the Advisory Board for Twin Rivers Paper Company. Ed is a graduate of Fairfield University and has received professional certifications as a Public Accountant in the State of New York and as a Fraud Examiner. Jacob D. Hudson – Partner Mr. Hudson joined Atlas in 2005 and is a Partner. During his career with Atlas, Jake has led the evaluation and execution of numerous transaction opportunities as well as the formation, financing and oversight of several Atlas portfolio companies. Jake is a graduate of Wesleyan University. Philip E. Schuch – Partner Mr. Schuch joined Atlas in 2003 and serves as a Partner. Prior to joining Atlas, Phil was employed at E&Y for over 14 years and was a principal of the firm's Transaction Support Group, participating in over 100 domestic and foreign due diligence engagements for private equity investor groups and strategic buyers. At E&Y, he had active participation in company financings and significant involvement in fraud/litigation engagements, including numerous projects involving the United States Department of Justice. Jerome serves on the Board of Managers of Novipax and ASG. Jerome is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. Michael W. Sher – Principal Mr. Sher joined Atlas in 2010. Prior to joining Atlas, Michael served as a Research Associate at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. covering large-cap banks. Michael has participated in the formation, financing and oversight of several Atlas portfolio companies and has led the evaluation and analysis of numerous opportunities. Jason Squire – Principal Mr. Squire joined Atlas in 2010. Prior to joining Atlas, Jason was a member of the Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group at J.P. Morgan, where he executed a variety of M&A and capital-raising assignments. Jason has participated in the formation, financing and oversight of several Atlas portfolio companies and has led the evaluation and analysis of numerous opportunities. Jason serves on the Board of Managers of Banker Steel, Merchants Metals, Tecumseh, and Veritas Steel. Jason is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis. David A. Filippelli – Principal – Public Affairs and Communications Mr. Filippelli joined Atlas in 2014 and serves as Principal – Public Affairs and Communications. David manages the public affairs and strategic communications functions at Atlas. He brings over 17 years of experience to Atlas and its portfolio companies, having served in senior roles in both the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Atlas, he served as the Chairman of the governmental affairs practice of Gibbons P.C. In this role, he managed a team of consultants and served as lead public affairs advisor to several high-profile enterprises, including one of the world's largest hospitality companies, several integrated health systems, large regional food retailers,and a leading consumer products manufacturer. Much of his work focused on driving business growth through the successful pursuit of business incentives and public funding at the state and federal level. Before entering the private sector, David served for several years as legislative and communications director to a Member of Congress currently serving on the House Ways and Means Committee. He is a graduate of Fairfield University and American University's Washington College of Law. Cheri F. Reeve – Chief Financial Officer Ms. Reeve joined Atlas in 2010 and serves as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Atlas, Cheri was employed at Commonfund for over 11 years and was Controller for the firm's real estate group. At Commonfund, Cheri was responsible for the accounting and reporting for the real estate funds and participated in asset and debt valuation. Cheri is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and Fairfield University. Neil Mahajan – Vice President Mr. Mahajan joined Atlas in 2016. Prior to joining Atlas, Neil served as a Vice President at Avenue Capital Group, a hedge fund firm focusing on distressed securities. From July 2008 to June 2010, Neil served as an Analyst at Peter J. Solomon Company, an investment banking advisory firm, where he focused on Restructuring and M&A assignments. Neil is a graduate of Brown University. Michael P. O’Donnell – Vice President Mr. O’Donnell joined Atlas in 2014 and serves as Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to joining Atlas, Michael had his own regulatory consulting practice. Before that Michael was a Director and Senior Counsel for a specialty finance fund, and a senior member of Belgrade and O’Donnell, P.C., a Chicago law firm focusing on Civil Trial and Appellate Practice. Michael began his professional career as a prosecutor with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago, Illinois. Troy E. Schirk – Director of Information Systems Mr. Schirk joined Atlas in 2007. Troy has led the implementation of numerous IT transitions and is deeply engaged in information systems assessments during the due diligence process as well as assisting in the planning and implementation of systems separation in the context of corporate carve out transactions. Prior to joining Atlas, Troy was employed by Forest Resources LLC as IT Director, ComGraphics, Inc. as IT Director, and served as a Senior IT Consultant on major IT projects for Hyundai Motor America. Troy is a graduate of the University of Windsor. Nicholas A. Liso – Fund Controller Mr. Liso joined Atlas in 2013 and serves as Fund Controller. Prior to joining Atlas, Nick was a Senior Associate at Ernst and Young (“EY”) for over three years in the assurance practice. While at EY, Nick primarily specialized in the financial services industry. Nick is a graduate of Marist College. Berat Rifati – Senior Fund Accountant Mr. Rifati joined Atlas in 2015 and serves as the Senior Fund Accountant. Prior to joining Atlas, Berat was a Senior Associate at KPMG in the alternative investments tax practice. While at KPMG, Berat primarily provided tax consulting and compliance services to private equity, real estate, and manufacturing clients. Berat is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University. Pete Koumasidis – Senior Fund Accountant Mr. Koumasidis joined Atlas in 2017 and serves as the Senior Fund Accountant. Prior to joining Atlas, Pete was a Senior Associate at PwC for three years in the assurance financial services industry. Pete has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut and an MSA/MBA from Fairfield University. Daniel T. Merriam – Senior Associate Mr. Merriam joined Atlas in 2014. Adam Levy – Chief Restructuring Officer Mr. Levy serves as the Chief Restructuring Officer of Twin Rivers Paper. He has over 20 years of experience across a number of industries in a variety of roles, including serving as CRO/COO/CFO, financial executive and advisor. Industries in which Adam has experience include publishing, branded apparel and textiles, automotive components, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, technology and real estate. Josef M. Haak – Vice President Finance Mr. Haak is a product of the Atlas Field Analyst Program and currently serves as Vice President Finance for Detroit Renewable Energy LLC. Joe joined Detroit Renewable Energy LLC in 2011 as a Field Analyst. Prior to joining Detroit Renewable Energy LLC, Joe was an Associate at Peregrine Capital Partners LLC, a boutique middle-market investment banking and consulting firm, where he executed a variety of M&A, capital raising, and management consulting assignments. Joe supports the senior management team and works directly alongside the Chief Financial Officer conducting continuous improvement initiatives and business analytics. Prior to joining Iconex, Will was an analyst in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Leveraged Finance Group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Prior to joining Aludium, Giancarlo served as an Investment Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan in its Financial Sponsor Group, where he executed a variety of M&A and capital-raising transactions. Giancarlo graduated from Emory University, receiving his BBA in Finance from the Goizueta Business School. Sam Kinsman – Field Analyst Mr. Kinsman joined Iconex in 2017 as a Field Analyst based in France. In this role, he helps lead and enhance the growth of Iconex across Europe through strategic, data-informed analysis of the Company’s European operations including manufacturing and distribution, procurement, and sales and marketing. He also focuses on growth strategies through partnerships and M&A in Europe. Prior to joining Iconex, Sam was an investment banking analyst in the Natural Resources group of Goldman Sachs in New York where he worked on M&A, equity, and debt transactions for large corporate clients and financial sponsors in the power, renewable energy, and private infrastructure sectors. Prior to Goldman, Sam worked at PwC in São Paulo performing valuation analysis for distressed Brazilian sellers, and at Moody’s Investors Service in New York performing high yield credit analysis. He is professionally fluent in Portuguese and conversational in French and Spanish. He graduated summa cum laude from University of Georgia with a degree in Banking and Finance. Alex Ryan – Field Analyst Mr. Ryan joined Erickson Construction as a Field Analyst in 2016. He assists the senior management team and works directly alongside the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operations Officer executing strategic initiatives and business analytics. Peter Bacon Mr. Bacon has over 25 years of experience working in the financial services industry. Most recently, he was European Head of Global Capital Markets for Morgan Stanley, responsible for all debt and equity capital raising activities by corporate, private equity and government clients in Europe and the Middle East. Prior to that role, he was Global Head of Leveraged Finance for Morgan Stanley. Earlier roles in investment banking included covering the chemicals industry and financial sponsors in both North America and Europe. In addition to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Bacon has worked for the investment banks Wertheim Schroder, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse. For a period, he also served as a partner of GSO Capital Partners, a credit oriented hedge fund and private debt management group Mr. Bacon holds a BA from London University and a Doctorate in Philosophy from Oxford University.
Mr. Bacon serves as a member of the Board of Managers for Aludium. Mr. Baitler served as an Executive Vice President of the Contract Division of Staples Inc. since 2004. Mr. Baitler had been with Staples since 1995 and was responsible for business-to-business eCommerce operations, catalog operations, sales, marketing and supplier relationships. He served as Mid-Atlantic Regional President and Senior Vice President of Contract Division of Staples Inc. Prior to that, he served as Northeast Regional President of BT Office Products. He also served as President of Summit Office Supply where he oversaw all activities related to sales, marketing, operations, distribution, logistics, information systems and merchandising. Mr. Baitler has been a Director of TESSCO Technologies Inc. since 2007. He serves on the Advisory Council of Office Products International. He is also the former Industry Chairman of the Anti-Defamation League and is a former director of Harvard Hillel. Mr. Baitler is a native of New York City and graduated from Union College.
Mr. Baitler serves on the Board of Managers of Soundview Paper LLC and the Advisory Boards of Finch Paper LLC and Twin Rivers Paper Company and is an investor in Atlas. Mr. Banker founded Banker Steel Company in 1997 where he continues as President and CEO. Under Mr. Banker’s leadership Banker Steel has fabricated award winning projects that include the Barclays Center Arena, Washington Nationals Stadium, World Trade Center Tower 1 and The International Gem Tower. Previously, Mr. Banker served as Vice President of Operations with Hirschfeld Steel Company based in San Angelo, TX.
Mr. Banker serves as the President and CEO of Banker Steel LLC. Mr. Black brings nearly two decades of experience running and working with governments and regulatory authorities to his work with Atlas, having served as a senior advisor to Canadian politicians on policy and government operations. During his last stint in government, he was charged with overseeing the negotiation of agreements facilitating major policy overhauls and investments in sectors like electricity, energy, forestry, manufacturing, the fisheries and shipbuilding. Paul is a graduate of government studies at Acadia and Dalhousie universities.
Mr. Black serves as an advisor to Atlas on Public Affairs and Canadian investments, and is an observer on the Board of Twin Rivers Paper Company. Mr. Caines previously served as the CEO, ASG Americas, a division of ASG, an Atlas portfolio company. Prior to ASG, he served as President and COO of Boehmer Box, a division of Forest Resources LLC, formerly an Atlas portfolio company. Prior to that, he spent 17 years as a senior executive for Quebecor World, one of the largest printing companies in North America.
Mr. Caines serves as a member of the Board of Managers of Iconex and an advisor to Atlas in the packaging industry. Mr. Cooper served as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Domtar Corporation until his retirement in 2009. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of Pulp, Paper, Containerboard Manufacturing and Engineering of Weyerhaeuser Co. from February 2002 to October 2006. Mr. Cooper’s responsibilities included the operation of Weyerhaeuser’s pulp, paper and containerboard mills, and overseeing the engineering operations. Before joining Weyerhaeuser, Mr. Cooper was with Willamette Industries for 22 years. Mr. Cooper served as an Executive Vice President of Willamette Industries Inc. beginning in 1998 until Willamette was acquired by Weyerhaeuser Co. He served as Senior Vice President, Pulp and Paper Mills for Willamette from 1997 to 1998, Group Vice President, Pulp and Paper Mills from 1996 to 1997 and Division Vice President - Fine Paper Mills from 1991 to 1996.
Mr. Cooper serves on the Advisory Boards of Finch Paper LLC and Twin Rivers Paper Company. Mr. Corbin has worked in the building materials, construction and distribution industries for 44 years. Mr. Corbin served as Chairman of the Board of Wood Resources LLC from 2009 through 2012. Prior to his retirement from Weyerhaeuser Co. in 2006, he served as Executive Vice President with responsibility for the Industrial Wood Products and International Business Groups, having previously been Executive Vice President of both Wood Products and Timberlands. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Crown Zellerbach Corporation and International Paper Company. Mr. Corbin recently retired from the Board of Directors of Con-way, Inc. He is active with Habitat for Humanity.
Mr. Corbin serves as a member of the Board of Managers of New Wood Resources LLC and RedBuilt LLC, an advisor to Atlas in the forest products and construction industries and is an investor in Atlas. Mr. Costello has worked in the paper products industry for over 45 years. He retired from International Paper Company in 2002. His most recent assignment was Chief Executive Officer of the xpedx division of International Paper Company, having previously held senior positions at Dixon Paper and Rampart Containers.
Mr. Costello serves as a member of the Board of Managers of the ASG Group and an advisor to Atlas in the paper products and distribution industries. Mr. Critchfield has worked in environmental audit, risk transfer and due diligence for over 30 years. He is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of EMSOURCE, Inc., President of Compliance Systems Worldwide, Inc., and a board member with several Global Forest Partners, LP investment funds, having previously served as a senior environmental manager with International Paper Company and the Alaska Natural Gas Transportation System.
Mr. Critchfield serves as an advisor to Atlas on environmental risk assessment and management and is an investor in Atlas. Arnaud de Weert Mr. de Weert previously served as President of North America for Owens Illinois Inc. Prior to joining OI, Mr. de Weert served as COO of Constellium, a leading aluminum company with revenues in excess of $3.0 billion, and played an active role in its formation. Prior to Constellium, Mr. de Weert held various leadership roles with Novelis AG, Ontex, and Stanley Tools. Mr. Denig has worked in the building materials, construction and distribution industries for over 30 years. His most recent assignment was President of the TrusJoist division of Weyerhaeuser Company, having previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of TJ International, Inc. Mr. Denig currently serves on the Board of Directors of JM Huber Engineered Wood.
Mr. Denig serves as Chairman of the Board of Managers of RedBuilt LLC, a member of the Board of Managers of Bridgewell Resources LLC, an advisor to Atlas in the building and construction industries and is an investor in Atlas. Mr. Diamond has spent much of his career helping small and mid-sized companies survive and thrive in a rapidly changing environment by identifying key strategies and guiding their implementation. He has advised companies in a range of industries including packaged goods companies and marketing services. He began his career in packaged goods marketing at Procter & Gamble and other, smaller, consumer product companies. He subsequently spent 15 years in the marketing services industry, serving in senior management roles at ActMedia, Lamaze Publishing and Catalina Marketing Corporation. Mr. Diamond holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from Carleton College.
Mr. Diamond serves as a member of the Board of Managers of Soundview Paper LLC, an advisor to Atlas in the pulp, paper and tissue sector, and is an investor in Atlas. Mr. Driggs is the current President of Heery International, a leading integrated design and construction company. Previously he served as Executive Vice President, Head of Operations (greater United States) for Lend Lease Corporation, a diversified property group with market leading positions in the United States, Canada and Latin America. Lend Lease operates out of four key sectors: public-private partnerships, residential property development, property investment management and construction/program management.
Mr. Driggs serves as a member of the Board of Managers of Erickson Construction LLC and an advisor to Atlas in the building materials industry. Gary Giles Gary Giles served as Chairman and CEO of Lone Star Distribution, North America’s second largest wholesale distributor of sport nutrition products. As Chairman and CEO, he successfully guided Lone Star through a strategic sale to its largest competitor, creating the world’s largest distribution platform for sport nutrition. Prior to Lone Star, Gary was Global Vice President of Product and Research for the Juice Plus Company, where he led all global supply chain, manufacturing, research and development, quality, regulatory and marketing support for one of the world’s largest consumer brands in the field of human nutrition. Gary served as a Director of Baoying Ltd, one of the largest consumer brands in the health and wellness field in China. Gary began his business career at Office Depot, where he worked in various merchandising roles and started the company’s global sourcing program. A former US Marine Corps officer, Gary holds a BA from Washington and Lee University and an MBA from Dartmouth College. Mr. Goodrich, was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BE&K, Inc., a privately owned engineering and construction firm until its sale to KBR Inc. in June 2008. He is also a director of Energen Corporation and Synovus Financial Corporation.
Mr. Goodrich serves as a member of the Board of Managers of ASG Group, an advisor to Atlas and is an investor in Atlas. Mr. Gordon has worked in the consumer goods industry for over 40 years. He has served as an executive officer of Nice-Pak Products, Inc., Beiersdorf North America, Goody Products, and Playtex Products. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Kiss My Face Corporation as its non-executive Chairman of the Board, Nice-Pak Products, Inc., PDII, Inc., and Chaikin Analytics, Inc.
Mr. Gordon serves as a member of the Board of Managers of ASG Group, an advisor to Atlas and is an investor in Atlas. Mr. Gozon has worked in the distribution, energy and forest products industries for over 40 years. He most recently served as Executive Vice President of Weyerhaeuser Company and Chairman of NORPAC (North Pacific Paper, a joint venture with Nippon Paper Industries). He also served as Director, President and Chief Operating Officer of Alco Standard Corporation. He currently serves as Chairman of AmerisourceBergen Corporation and is a Director of Amerigas Propane, Inc., Triumph Group, Inc., and UGI Corporation. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Thomas Jefferson University.
Mr. Gozon serves as member of the Board of Managers of the ASG Group, an advisor to Atlas and is an investor in Atlas. Mr. Graham is one of the most accomplished and respected managers in the steel industry, having worked in the industry for over 50 years. Mr. Graham served as President of U.S. Steel, Chairman and CEO of AK Steel and also served as an executive officer of LTV Steel, Washington Steel and Armco Steel.
Mr. Graham serves as a member of the Board of Managers of Phoenix Services LLC, an advisor to Atlas in the steel industry and is an investor in Atlas. Mr. Hoffman has worked in the paper and packaging industry for over 25 years. He served as Mill Manager, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Green Bay Packaging, Inc. For his efforts in improving paper recycling and reducing papermaking’s environmental impacts, Mr. Hoffman has received numerous awards including presentations from EPA Director Carol Browner, the Izaac Walton League and, in 1991, President George H.W. Bush in a Rose Garden ceremony presented Mr. Hoffman with an award for his contributions in developing recycled paper products. Hoffman has over 40 issued and pending patents.
Mr. Hoffman serves as a member of the Board of Managers of Forest Resources LLC, an advisor to Atlas in the pulp, paper and packaging industries and is an investor in Atlas. Ms. Hogan joined Merchants Metals as President and CEO in 2015. Prior to her current role, Ms. Hogan was with Bridgewell Resources, most recently as Vice President, Business Development. Previously, Ms. Hogan served in a variety of roles within Wesco Distribution, Inc. where she ultimately led the global distribution of lighting, solar and alternative energy products. Ms. Hogan also served as a member of the management team of Strategic Distribution, Inc. a leading provider of on-site integrated supply services focusing on the indirect material chain for large industrial consumers. Ms. Hogan is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University and a LEAN Blue Belt.
Ms. Hogan serves as President and CEO of Merchants Metals, Inc. Mr. Jackson has worked in the paper and packaging industries for over 30 years. He has served as President and CEO of Verso Paper Corp. Previously, he spent 29 years at Weyerhaeuser, most recently as Senior Vice President of Cellulose Fibers and White Papers. He also served as Chairman of NORPAC, Weyerhaeuser’s joint venture with Nippon Paper. Mr. Jackson currently serves on the Board of Directors of SupplyOne.
Mr. Jackson serves as a member of the Board of Managers of the ASG Group and an advisor to Atlas in the pulp, paper and packaging sectors. Mr. Jensen has extensive global experience in development, manufacturing and sales of mass customized hydraulic, mechanical and electronic components and solutions. Previously, he served as Managing Director at Sauer Danfoss, a global manufacturer and marketer of high- and medium-volume customized hydraulic, mechanical and electronic components and solutions for off-road vehicles and their attachments. Mr. Jensen holds an MBA from Duke University and a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from Syddansk Universitet.
Mr. Jensen serves as a member of the Board of Managers of Motus Integrated Technologies, as a member of the Board of Managers and the CEO of Veritas Steel and as an advisor to Atlas in the automotive, capital equipment and metal fabrication industries. Mr. Justice has over 30 years of experience in mining operations, management and strategy development/implementation. Most recently, he was VP and GM of the coal related assets of Lightfoot Capital Partners LLC (LCP) of NYC until the successful acquisition of these assets by James River Coal Company in April of 2011. Prior to LCP, Mr. Justice evaluated potential mining acquisitions for Imagine Natural Resources (INR) of Richmond, VA. This work led to the purchase of a large metallurgical coal reserve that was developed and later sold to Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. Prior to joining INR in 2006, Mr. Justice held President/GM positions at Alpha Natural Resources, Peabody Energy Corp and Shell Mining. Mr. Justice received an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a BS in Mining Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
Mr. Justice serves as an advisor to Atlas in the coal industry. Mr. Kellogg has founded and held leadership roles in industrial businesses in numerous industries including chemicals, distribution, natural gas exploration and production, petroleum trading and real estate. He is currently Chairman of the Board of Basic Management, Inc., Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Grupo Transmerquim, S.A., Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of Pioneer Partners LLC, and Co-Founder and Board Member of Susquehanna Exploration & Production Company, LLC.
Mr. Kellogg serves as Chairman of the Board of Managers of Bridgewell Resources LLC, an advisor to Atlas in the chemicals, distribution, real estate and natural gas industries and is an investor in Atlas. Mr. Leach has over 35 years of experience in plastics and packaging across a broad array of industries and processes. He previously served as President and CEO of Tegrant Corporation, a diversified packaging company serving the consumer goods, pharmaceutical, automotive and appliance industries. Prior to Tegrant, Mr. Leach served as President of SCA Packaging North America and as CEO of Alloyd Corporation. He has extensive leadership experience in organizational turn-arounds, accelerated growth initiatives and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Leach serves as Chairman of Novipax LLC, as an advisor to Atlas in the packaging industry and as an investor in Atlas. During a 45 year career, spanning six decades, Lee led multiple global and enterprise wide functions for the iconic automaker, General Motors, including head of Global Manufacturing, responsible for producing nearly ten million vehicles annually, President of GM International Operations and Chairman of GM China. Mr. Lee received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Administration from General Motors Institute (now Kettering University), and a Master of Science in Industrial Administration from Purdue University.
Mr. Lee is Chairman of Motus Integrated Technologies and serves as an advisor to Atlas in the automotive sector. Adam Levy Mr. Levy has successfully reorganized, streamlined and strengthened operations to maximize performance and profitability in over 30 companies in diverse industries. He is the Executive Vice President Corporate Development of Twin Rivers Paper. Prior to this, he served as Chief Restructuring Officer of ZipLocal, Thompson Publishing, The Penrod Company, Marc Ecko and Interim Chief Financial Officer of National Express Corp., Blue Water Automotive Systems and other companies. Mr. Levy is a graduate of University of Toronto, University of Western Ontario and is a Canadian Chartered Accountant (inactive). Mr. Liebich has worked in the building materials industry for over 20 years. He currently serves as President and CEO of RedBuilt LLC and New Wood Resources LLC. Previously, he served as President and CEO of Wood Resources LLC beginning in 2012 until its sale to Boise Cascade in September 2013. Prior to joining the Atlas companies, Mr. Liebich was an executive with Weyerhaeuser Company, where he served as Vice President of the Trus Joist division after having been Vice President of the Trus Joist Commercial division. Mr. Liebich currently serves as a Trustee for Riverstone International School and on the Board of Project Lead the Way and the Lee Pesky Learning Center.
Mr. Liebich serves as President and CEO of New Wood Resources LLC and RedBuilt LLC, an advisor to Atlas in the wood products and construction materials industries and is an investor in Atlas. Mr. Lowe is currently the Chairman of Twin Rivers Paper Company. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Twin Rivers, and prior to that was Chief Executive Officer of Northern Pulp Nova Scotia LLC (a former Atlas portfolio company) until its sale in 2011. He also worked at Domtar Industries Inc. for nearly 30 years in progressively senior roles including General Manager of the Domtar Pulp Mill in Woodland, Maine.
Mr. Lowe serves as the Chairman of Twin Rivers Paper Company, a member of the Advisory Boards of Finch Paper LLC and Twin Rivers Paper Company and an advisor to Atlas in the pulp and paper industry. Ms. Maier is an entrepreneur and experienced industrial sales executive. Most recently, she served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Metal Resources LLC (a former Atlas portfolio company) from 2002 until its sale in 2008. She began her career in sales at Esco Corporation in Portland, Oregon, was employed by Reynolds Aluminum as the regional outside sales manager for the Pacific Northwest and founded Kipp Industrial Steel Sales, Inc., a broker and manufacturers’ representative of carbon, stainless, and nickel alloy products.
Ms. Maier serves as a member of the Board of Managers of Bridgewell Resources LLC, as an advisor to Atlas in the metals distribution business and is an investor in Atlas. Mr. Maier has worked in the steel products, mining and raw materials industries for over 50 years. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Metal Resources LLC from its formation in 2002 until it was sold in 2008. Previously, Mr. Maier was Chairman and CEO of Republic Engineered Steels and an Executive Officer of LTV Flat Rolled and LTV Bar.
Mr. Maier serves as a member of the Board of Managers of Phoenix Services LLC, as an advisor to Atlas in the steel industry and is an investor in Atlas. Mr. McCauley has worked in the trading business for nearly 25 years. Prior to Bridgewell, Mr. McCauley spent over 22 years at Susquehanna International Group (SIG), a quantitative proprietary financial trading firm. At SIG, he held numerous roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Head of New Business Development. He also helped to develop the firm’s highly regarded Training and Development Program, designed to teach traders and managers key principles of quantitative decision making. Mr. McCauley holds a MBA from Vanderbilt University and a BA in Economics from Swarthmore College.
Mr. McCauley serves as a member of the Board of Managers and CEO of Bridgewell Resources LLC. Paul Meringolo Mr. Meringolo is the former CEO and director of Medical Action Industries Inc. Mr. Meringolo held various executive positions during his 35 years with the company, including President and Chief Executive Officer for 18 consecutive years. Prior to that, he performed sales and operational roles within the company. He led the company from a start-up to an established leading supplier of medical and surgical disposable products. Under Mr. Meringolo’s leadership, the company identified opportunities for accelerating revenue growth and improving profitability.
Mr. Meringolo serves as a member of the Board of Managers for ASG. Mr. Meyers has 38 years of experience in the tissue products business. He retired from Georgia-Pacific, LLC in 2008 after serving as VP Operations of Georgia-Pacific, LLC’s Muskogee Plant which produces facial tissue, towel and napkin products. Previously, Mr. Meyers managed the tissue operations of Georgia-Pacific Mexico. Mr. Meyers also serves on the Oklahoma State Board of Education for Career Tech.
Mr. Meyers serves as CEO of Soundview Paper LLC and is an investor in Atlas. Dr. Mukherjee has worked in the paper products industry for over 15 years. He previously served in a number of senior positions at P.H. Glatfelter Company, including Division Vice President-Engineered & Converting Products and most recently, Vice President & General Manager-Specialty Papers. Dr. Mukherjee holds a Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.B.A. from York College of Pennsylvania, School of Business.
Dr. Mukherjee serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer, a member of the Board of Managers of Finch Paper LLC and on the Advisory Board of Twin Rivers Paper Company. Mr. Phillips served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Hirschfeld Industries from 2004 – 2013. Hirschfeld is one of country’s largest bridge makers with additional operations in the fabrication of wind towers and oil & gas vessels. While at Hirschfeld, Mr. Phillips played a key role in numerous aspects of the business, ranging from assessing strategic alternatives to estimating new jobs. Prior to Hirschfeld, Mr. Phillips served as Managing Director at JPMorgan Securities where he provided advisory services to middle market companies in Texas and the Southeast.
Mr. Phillips serves as an advisor to Atlas in the steel fabrication and bridge industries. Mr. Quinonez has over 30 years of experience in the residential framing industry. He currently serves as a Vice President of Erickson Construction LLC and General Manager of the Chandler, AZ operation.
Mr. Quinonez serves as Vice President of Erickson Construction LLC and is an advisor to Atlas in the building materials industry. Mr. Richard has worked in the pulp, paper and packaging industries for over 25 years. He is currently President and CEO of Forest Resources LLC and served as a member of the Board of Managers of Wood Resources LLC until its sale in September 2013. He has previously served as a General Manager of Visy Paper, a unit of Pratt Industries.
Mr. Richard serves as President and CEO and a member of the Board of Managers of Forest Resources LLC, an advisor to Atlas in the pulp and paper industry and is an investor in Atlas. Mr. Rothaupt has thirty plus years of operations, engineering and management experience in the electric power industry. Mr. Rothaupt worked for AES Corporation, a global energy company, serving as Plant Manager and Vice President of Operations for Eastern North America. Mr. Rothaupt was introduced to the energy sector in the 1970s Mr. Rothaupt is a graduate of the US Coast Guard Academy with a degree in Engineering. Alain Rothstein Mr. Rothstein brings his private equity and operations experience to prospective and existing Atlas portfolio companies in due diligence, acquisition and integration capacities, most recently serving as the full-time Chief Restructuring Officer for Banker Steel’s acquisition of NYC Constructors. Previously, Alain was a Principal with Vicente Capital and Kline Hawkes, as well as a co-founder of Bomoda, a data analytics company. Mr. Snapp has worked in the wood products, building materials and chemicals industries for over 35 years. He served on the Board of Managers of Wood Resources LLC until its sale to Boise Cascade in September 2013. Previously, he was an executive at International Paper Company, serving as Senior Vice President of the Building Materials and Specialty Business divisions, President of Masonite Corporation and President and Chief Executive Officer of Arizona Chemical Company. Mr. Snapp is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Bend Memorial Clinic.
Mr. Snapp serves as a member of the Board of Managers of New Wood Resources LLC , an advisor to Atlas in the wood products and building materials industries and is an investor in Atlas. A recognized leader in the plastics molding industry, Mr. Sykes brings more than 25 years of experience to Amaray. He spent the last 22 years at Nypro Incorporated, where he served as Group President of the Consumer and Electronics Global Business Unit. At Nypro, he helped transform the company from primarily a healthcare-focused, plastic molding company to a global leader in plastic-based manufacturing, while increasing revenue more than tenfold. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Nichols College.
Mr. Sykes serves as the CEO and President of Amaray Plastics. Mr. Toya retired from Credit Suisse in March 2010 after an eighteen year career as a bond salesman, bond trader and business manager. Mr. Toya was the Co-Head of Global U.S. Interest Rate Products and a member of the Fixed Income Operating Committee. Previously, he was employed at KPMG where he worked in both the audit and tax departments and attained the status of Certified Public Accountant in New York State. Mr. Toya received his Master of Business in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School in 1992 and graduated magna cum laude with a degree in accounting from SUNY-Binghamton in 1986.
Mr. Toya serves as Chairman of Bridgewell Resources LLC, an advisor to Atlas in the trading and distribution industry and is an investor in Atlas. David Uri Mr. Uri has been working with the Atlas principals for nearly two decades. He is currently the Managing Member of Endurance Holdings, LLC which provides due diligence support, corporate advisory and transition support services as well as making direct equity investments in middle market companies. Previously Mr. Uri was a partner with GarMark Advisors, Pegasus Capital Advisors and EXOR America. Mr. Uri was actively involved with the acquisition and transition of Bridegwell Resources, New Wood Resources, ASG, Novipax and currently provides support services to several other Atlas portfolio companies.
Mr. Uri’s work with Atlas includes acquisition, transaction and support services. Lynn Utter Lynn Utter serves as Chief Executive Officer and board member for First Source, a leading distributor and packager of specialty candies, nuts and snacks. Prior to First Source, Lynn held various senior management positions including global President and Chief Operating Officer of Knoll Office, Chief Strategy Officer at Coors Brewing Company, General Manager with PepsiCo/Frito-Lay, and as a management consultant with Strategic Planning Associates. Lynn has served on a myriad of not-for-profit boards including the Board of Overseers for the Henry Crown Fellowship at The Aspen Institute, The University of Texas Audit Committee, and United Way. Lynn is active in a number of women’s professional organizations including C200 and The International Women’s Forum, and recently co-chaired the Stanford Graduate School of Business’ Task Force on Women. Lynn received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from The University of Texas and earned her MBA from Stanford University.
Lynn currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for WESCO International (WCC: NYSE) and as a member of the Board of Managers of Merchants Metals LLC. Mr. Vogel served as President and CEO of NewPage, Inc. until his retirement in 2004. Previously, he was President of Papers Group at MeadWestvaco Corporation and also served as Interim Principal Financial Officer until August 2004. He had served as Vice President of Finance and Treasurer of Mead Corp. and as Vice President of Business Affairs from February, 1999 to January, 1997; President of the Zellerbach Division from January, 1997 to March, 1993 and President of the Gilbert Paper Division from March, 1993 to February 1999.
Mr. Vogel serves on the Advisory Boards of Finch Paper LLC and Twin Rivers Paper Company. Mr. Walters has worked in the building materials, construction and distribution industries for over 40 years. During that time he held positions as Operations Vice President of Trus Joist Corporation, general manager of Engineered Wood Products for Willamette Industries and Weyerhaeuser. He most recently served as Director of Corporate Development of the Trus Joist division of Weyerhaeuser Company. He has owned and operated businesses which manufactured and sold engineered wood products.
Mr. Walters serves as a member of the Board of Managers of RedBuilt LLC and an advisor to Atlas in the building and construction industries. Ronald Whitaker Mr. Whitaker has worked in the capital equipment and metal processing and fabrication industries for over 35 years. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Hyco, Inc., President and Chief Executive Officer of Strategic Distribution, Inc., Wheelabrator Corporation, Johnson Worldwide, EWI Inc. and Colts Manufacturing Co. Mr. Whitaker has an extensive background in turnaround leadership, corporate strategy, operations and marketing.
Mr. Whitaker serves as an advisor to Atlas in the capital equipment and metal fabrication industries and is an investor in Atlas. Shannon is President and CEO of Motus Integrated Technologies formed in June 2014 to purchase manufacturing assets of Johnson Controls in Michigan, Alabama, Mexico, Germany and France. Shannon served previously as President and CEO of Guilford Performance Textiles and United Plastics Group. Shannon is a graduate of the University of Utah and received his MBA from the University Of Southern California Marshall School Of Business.
Mr. White serves as a member of the Board of Managers and CEO of Motus Integrated Technologies. Ann Whitty Ann Whitty is an experienced business and manufacturing leader. She spent 31 years with Alcoa Inc., where she held a variety of positions with increasing responsibility. Prior to retirement, Ann was President of Alcoa China Mill Products, with primary responsibility for operations and commercial leadership of the enterprise. Her Alcoa experience also includes roles as the Vice-President and General Manager of Alcoa’s Rigid Packaging Division, leading two large Alcoa manufacturing facilities in the United States, and working in Alcoa of Australia’s mining, refining and smelting business. Ann graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and received her MBA from St. Ambrose University.
Ann currently serves as the District Director of Missouri SCORE, a member of the Board of Managers of Aludium LLC, a member of Board of Directors of Synergy Services, and a member of the SCORE National Advisory Council. Mr. Winterhalter currently serves as the President of Twin Rivers Paper, an Atlas portfolio company. Previously, he served as President of National Envelope and President of Unisource, a paper distributor.
Mr. Winterhalter serves as a member of the Board of Managers of Iconex. Mr. Wood has three decades of experience in the energy business as an engineer, general manager and senior executive. He currently serves as President and CEO of Thermoenergy, a water purification technology business. Previously, he served at the U.S. Department of Energy as Deputy Assistant Secretary-Clean Coal, President and CEO of Babcock Power, President and COO of Babcock & Wilcox and President of WTI International Wheelabrator Environmental Systems Inc., dealing with international mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Wood serves as an advisor to Atlas in the energy and power generation industries.
