Create Common Good
Create Common Good (“CCG”) uses food to change lives. CCG, based in Boise, Idaho, is a 501(c)(3) social enterprise dedicated to providing food service job training and placement to individuals with barriers to employment. CCG’s goal is to put love into action and provide the training necessary to help its trainees move from a place of dependence on the community to a place of independence.
Create Common Good generates earned revenue centered on a business-to-business food production model. This revenue generation allows CCG to build a sustainable, replicable model that does not rely exclusively on grants and donations to achieve its mission.
Since 2009, CCG trainees have contributed well over $15 million back into the community in the form of earned wages.
