Bovis Returns to UK Construction
Following the announcement on 2nd January 2025 that Lendlease had entered into a binding agreement with Atlas Holdings for the sale of its UK Construction business, we confirm today that the transaction is complete. The existing business has been rebranded Bovis, hailing back to the company’s founding in 1885.
For 140 years, Bovis has delivered innovative construction solutions as a trusted contractor and consulting service partner for leading public and private organisations across the UK. Through its well-established nationwide platform, the company services blue-chip clients in both the public and private sectors and possesses strong technical expertise, credentials and relationships. The company has been involved in many of the UK’s most iconic construction projects, including the rebuilding works of Regents Street in 1923, Lloyds of London’s City Head Quarters in 1980, the first phase of Canary Wharf in 1991 and more recently projects including The Athlete’s Village for the 2012 Olympics, extensive works in the Defence and Justice sectors & 8 Bishopsgate in the City of London in 2024.
Bovis will be led by David Cadiot, who has been named Chief Executive Officer of the now independently operated Bovis, and his executive leadership team, all of whom are long-serving staff.
“The Lendlease UK team, now once again known as Bovis, has a long track record of successfully delivering large, complex projects and we look forward to working with their talented Leadership Team and associates to build upon the Bovis legacy in this next chapter,” said Atlas Operating Partner and member of the Bovis Board of Directors Peter Bacon.
